The United States has rejected Iran's written proposal to end the war.

PANews reported on May 15th, citing a report from Iran's Tehran Times, that the United States has rejected Iran's 14-point written proposal to end the war. The report stated that the US government responded to the proposal, rejecting Tehran's offer and "reiterating its hardline stance," particularly on the nuclear issue. Iran's proposal was based on a two-phase negotiation process: the first phase aimed to end the war on all fronts; if Iran's conditions were met, a second phase of negotiations on the nuclear issue would begin.
