PANews reported on May 25th that, according to Lookonchain monitoring, prior to the price increase of HYPE, a short-selling trader was simultaneously closing out their position and selling HYPE. They unsecured 443,180 HYPE (US$27 million), sold 231,899 HYPE (US$14.15 million), and are still selling the remaining 211,281 HYPE (US$13 million). They still hold a short position of 141,500 HYPE (US$8.67 million), with a paper loss exceeding US$2.5 million.
