Trump: A deal on Iran would be better than the JCPOA; otherwise, no agreement will be signed.

PANews reported on May 25 that US President Trump stated in a Truth Social post that the potential deal he is pushing for with Iran has not yet been finalized, but has already been attacked by Democrats, some Republican establishment figures, and critics. Trump emphasized that any future agreement with Iran will either be a "great and meaningful deal" or there will be no deal at all. He reiterated that any agreement will be completely different from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) signed during the Obama administration, calling it a "disaster" and arguing that it provided a direct path for Iran to acquire nuclear weapons. Trump stated that he will not accept an arrangement similar to the JCPOA.
