China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology plans to establish a unified digital identity system for all humanoid robots.

PANews reported on May 28th that, according to the South China Morning Post, the Humanoid Robotics and Embossed Intelligence Standardization Committee under China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has launched the "Humanoid Robot Full Lifecycle Management Service Platform." This platform aims to assign a unique digital identification code to every bipedal humanoid robot manufactured in China, covering the entire process from production and use to recycling. Official guidelines for the full lifecycle management and identification code usage of humanoid robots have also been released, applicable to all stakeholders in the industry chain, including manufacturers, service providers, sales channels, end users, and recycling organizations. The goal is to strengthen risk monitoring and industry supervision through a traceability mechanism and promote the standardized development of the humanoid robot industry.
