Fairshake-affiliated super PACs increase spending in the Maryland Democratic primary.

PANews reported on June 2nd that, according to Eleanor Terrett, Protect Progress, associated with Fairshake, has spent approximately $3.1 million on campaign ads for Maryland's 5th Congressional District, supporting state assembly candidate Adrian Boafo. A recent poll commissioned by Clarity Campaign Labs for Fairshake shows Boafo leading among Democratic primary candidates with 17% support, a significant increase from 3% and 10% in previous polls earlier this year and mid-April, respectively. Boafo currently enjoys approximately 40% favorability among voters and has the support of Senator Angela Alsobrooks and Governor Wes Moore.
