PANews reported on June 5th that the US seasonally adjusted non-farm payrolls increased by 172,000 in May, below the expected 85,000 and the previous month's figure revised from 115,000 to 179,000. The US unemployment rate in May was 4.3%, below the expected 4.30% and the previous month's figure.
