Iranian Foreign Minister says Iran-US negotiations will be divided into two phases

PANews reported on June 16 that, according to Xinhua News Agency citing Iranian media, Iranian Foreign Minister Araqchi stated that Iran will divide the negotiations into two phases. The first phase will discuss issues such as ending the war, opening the Strait of Hormuz, unfreezing frozen Iranian assets, and post-war reconstruction. Negotiations will then continue for 60 days to reach a final agreement, at which time the Iranian nuclear issue and the lifting of sanctions against Iran will be discussed.
