PANews, June 23 – In two proof-of-concept projects jointly completed by Ethereum infrastructure team Nethermind and UBS, the parties demonstrated that regulated banks and asset management institutions can achieve robust compliance controls on a public, permissionless network without modifying the Ethereum protocol itself. On the Ethereum Sepolia testnet, the team built and validated a node capable of imposing custom compliance rules on outgoing transactions, as well as a component that routes approved transaction bundles to specific block builders. No real funds were involved throughout the process.
