PANews June 26 news, according to The Wall Street Journal, Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh appointed two senior central bank economists Daniel Covitz and Eric Engstrom as his advisors. Covitz currently serves as one of three deputy directors of the Federal Reserve’s Division of Research and Statistics, Engstrom as senior deputy director of the Division of Monetary Affairs. Both have long served at the Federal Reserve, are familiar with internal operations, and will support Warsh’s reform of the Federal Reserve in policy and analysis.
