Japanese and South Korean stock markets opened lower, with the South Korean stock index falling more than 2%.

PANews reported on November 21 that the Nasdaq closed down more than 2% overnight, with Japanese and South Korean stock markets following suit. The South Korean KOSPI index opened down 104.05 points, or 2.6%, at 3900.8 points on Friday, November 21. The Nikkei 225 index opened down 505.53 points, or 1.01%, at 49318.41 points on Friday, November 21.
