PANews 12月17日消息，据Cointelegragh报道，两件与维基百科相关的物品于12月15日在佳士得拍卖行成交，这两件物品都来自维基百科联合创始人Jimmy Wales。在这场名为“维基百科诞生”的在线拍卖中，Jimmy Wales编辑的首个维基百科页面NFT作品以75万美元的价格售出，而他用来创建维基百科的Strawberry iMac以18.75万美元的价格售出。2001年，Jimmy Wales在维基百科上发布了首条信息“你好，世界!”，该NFT作品保留了2001年维基百科主页的布局，同时还允许所有者编辑页面，通过使用计时器重置页面，使其恢复到原始状态。
