PANews reported on December 26 that CZ posted on X that the Trust Wallet vulnerability incident resulted in a total loss of approximately $7 million, and the platform will fully reimburse affected users with funds of "SAFU". He also stated that the team is still investigating how the attackers successfully submitted a new version extension containing malicious code.
