PANews reported on May 18 that Dennis Porter, co-founder of Satoshi Action Fund (SAF), tweeted that the second reading of Texas' Strategic Bitcoin Reserve Act will be held on May 20, and the second reading is a "necessary step" before the final vote. If it is not passed before the recess on June 2, the SB 21 bill will be invalid and will need to be re-proposed at the next meeting. If it is passed by the House of Representatives before June 2, it will be submitted to Governor Greg Abbott for signature.

Earlier news , the Texas House of Representatives Committee passed the Bitcoin Reserve Act and will submit it to the plenary session for a vote.
