Analyst: Tether holds 83,700 Bitcoins, accounting for 0.4% of the total Bitcoin supply

PANews reported on February 13 that Tom Wan, a strategy analyst at 21.co, posted on the X platform that Tether holds 83,700 bitcoins (about US$8 billion), accounting for 0.4% of the total supply of bitcoins.

Earlier news , JPMorgan analysts said that Tether may need to sell Bitcoin to comply with proposed stablecoin regulations in the United States.
