PANews reported on March 7 that according to Binance’s announcement, Binance will impose a monitoring (observation) label on GoPlus Security (GPS) on March 7, 2025. Previously, GPS experienced a significant price drop after spot listing and was involved in market making behavior.

Binance pointed out that a market maker sold a total of about 70 million GPS tokens between 13:00 on March 4, 2025 and 09:55 on March 5, 2025 (UTC), and did not make any purchases during this period. After the spot trading was opened, he continued to sell, becoming the largest profiteer, earning about 5 million USDT. At present, the market maker's Binance account has been temporarily frozen, and Binance is conducting an in-depth investigation.

Binance reminds that tokens with observation labels may have higher volatility and risks, and may even be delisted. Users must pass the test and accept the terms of use every 90 days before they can trade tokens marked with observation labels.
