PANews reported on February 20 that according to TechCrunch, stablecoin liquidity provider Mansa announced the completion of a $10 million seed round of financing led by Tether. This round of financing included equity and debt financing. Tether contributed $3 million in equity financing. The new funds will support the company's expansion into Latin America and Southeast Asia, where liquidity challenges also limit cross-border transactions.
