PANews reported on August 21st that the GrokAI chat platform, owned by xAI, a company founded by Elon Musk, was embroiled in privacy issues. According to Forbes, over 370,000 AI chat logs have been published on the Grok website and indexed by search engines, making them publicly accessible. In addition to the chat logs themselves, Grok also publishes user-uploaded photos, spreadsheets, and other documents. The platform provides a share button that allows users to share conversations with others by generating unique URLs. However, these links are accessible to search engines, making the chat logs viewable by anyone, not just those who received the link.
