PANews reported on April 11 that according to Decrypt, digital asset management company Grayscale and Osprey have reached a settlement in the legal dispute surrounding the marketing of Bitcoin Trust ETF. Court documents show that the two parties must complete the compilation and execution of the settlement agreement documents within the next 45 days. The case originated from Osprey's lawsuit against Grayscale in early 2023 for "misleading publicity" in the promotion of GBTC to ETF. Grayscale was subsequently approved by the SEC to convert to ETF in 2024. Previously, the court ruled in favor of Grayscale in February 2025, believing that the Connecticut Unfair Business Practices Act cited by Osprey did not apply to securities cases. The details of the settlement have not yet been made public, and there has been no official response from both parties.
