据CoinPost 10月3日消息，以太坊联合创始人V神表示，由于可扩展性问题和gas价格飞涨，当前的以太坊网络不能支持多种类型的应用程序。如果不使用第2层解决方案，则无法在短期到中期解决可扩展性问题。因此，升级以太坊2.0是从根本上解决这一问题所必需的步骤。但是，他还提到要完全实现以太坊2.0还需要很多时间。昨日消息，V神更新以太坊路线图，表明以rollup构建为中心，rollup即为主要的Layer 2解决方案。
