据无锡市新吴区人民检察院官方消息，该院依法对一起以「区块链」为名义，通过发行“虚拟货币”等方式非法吸收公众存款案作出决定，以涉嫌非法吸收公众存款罪对犯罪嫌疑人颜某某、谢某某等3人批准逮捕；此外，该院还依法对一起以“区块链”、“数权”为幌子的非法吸收公众存款案作出决定，以涉嫌非法吸收公众存款罪对冯某某等4人批准逮捕，总计批捕7人。
