Tether CEO: We will not let competitors who really want to "eliminate Tether" succeed

PANews reported on February 25 that Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino posted on the X platform that USDt has become the most successful tool for dollar hegemony and emerging market distribution. Over the past decade, Tether has established the world's most extensive physical and digital distribution network, covering thousands of self-service terminals in Africa and South America, digital remittance platforms, payment backbones, and tools for institutions.

Tether's team and portfolio companies are working on the ground in countless areas of the developing world, helping communities increase USDt usage, trust, and education, which in the process has a profound impact on the U.S. economy. USDt currently helps over 400 million people and is growing at a rate of 35 million new wallets per quarter, with a focus on developing countries, while strengthening the position of the U.S. dollar and holding over $115 billion in U.S. Treasuries, making Tether the 18th largest holder of U.S. Treasuries.

Paolo Ardoino said that although competitors' business models should focus on building better products and larger distribution networks, their real intention is to "eliminate Tether." This goal is hidden behind every business or political meeting. Although it sounds a bit exaggerated, it is true.

“I will leave it to you to define your competitors, who are trying to kill them using legal means instead of focusing on better products. Tether will not stand still, and we will not let these attacks succeed. We cannot allow this to happen. We will firmly protect the hundreds of millions of people around the world who are ignored by the traditional financial system and help them get dollars through USDt.”
