PANews reported on January 24 that, according to official data, in the seven days ending January 21, Circle issued approximately 4.8 billion USDC and redeemed approximately 6.2 billion USDC, resulting in a decrease of approximately 1.4 billion USDC in circulation. The total circulating supply of USDC is 74.4 billion, with reserves of approximately $74.5 billion, including approximately $47.8 billion from overnight reverse repurchase agreements; approximately $16 billion from Treasury bonds with maturities of less than three months; approximately $9.9 billion from systemically important institution deposits; and approximately $800 million from other bank deposits.
