PANews reported on October 20 that BitsLab, a security organization in the Web3 ecosystem, announced the acquisition of KEKKAI Plugin, a secure browser plug-in from Japanese Web3 infrastructure company KEKKAI Labs, and renamed it BitsLab Safe.

KEKKAI Labs specializes in Web3 security and infrastructure development, and its core products are highly sought after in the Asian market. BitsLab plans to retain its existing functionality while introducing AI-driven security analysis and threat detection technologies to enhance the user-side security experience. BitsLab Safe supports transaction simulation, phishing alerts, and a community-built security database, marking BitsLab's expansion from enterprise-level security services to user-level protection, building a comprehensive Web3 security system.
