AI cloud service Vercel disclosed a security incident: unauthorized access to internal systems affected some users.

PANews reported on April 19th that Vercel, an AI cloud infrastructure provider, announced a security incident in April 2026, stating that some of its internal systems suffered unauthorized access. The company is currently investigating and has deployed a professional incident response team to assist in the handling of the incident, while also notifying law enforcement agencies. To mitigate potential risks, Vercel recommends that all users review their environment variable configurations and utilize the sensitive environment variable feature to enhance security.

Vercel disclosed that only a small number of users are currently affected, and the team is communicating with each affected user individually. Overall, the service remains operational.
