South Korean government asks public officials to review cryptocurrency holdings

PANews reported on January 10 that according to Digital Today, the Ministry of Personnel Management of South Korea has asked all government agencies to re-evaluate the implementation of restrictions on public officials' cryptocurrency holdings. Agencies must review their compliance and submit reports by January 31. The ministry particularly emphasized that not only agencies that deal with virtual asset policies, draft and enforce regulations, but also agencies involved in promoting economic and industrial policies may be subject to restrictions on access to virtual asset information.
