Sources say Discord has secretly filed for an IPO, with a potential valuation of over $15 billion.

PANews reported on January 7th that, according to Bloomberg, the chat platform Discord has secretly filed for an IPO with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and may list in the U.S. soon. Sources familiar with the matter said that Discord is working with Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase to advance the listing, but the plan has not yet been finalized and may still be canceled. Discord has over 200 million monthly active users and was valued at approximately $15 billion in a funding round in 2021, rejecting a $12 billion acquisition offer from Microsoft. The new CEO is former Activision Blizzard Vice Chairman Humam Sakhnini.
