PANews reported on December 13th that, according to Sputnik Armenia, Armenia will extend the license for buying and selling cryptocurrency cash for another year. The government has approved corresponding amendments to the Crypto Assets Law and will submit them to parliament for review. Until July 2026, companies can conduct cash transactions, but must comply with the following restrictions: the amount of a single transaction cannot exceed 300,000 drams (approximately US$780), and the seller must verify the customer's identity and record all transactions. The central bank reserves the right to check compliance at any time.
Armenia will extend the license period for buying and selling cryptocurrencies with cash until July next year.
