In a recent episode of the "In The Know" podcast, Cathie Wood, founder of Ark Capital, pointed out that the unemployment rate among young people (Gen Z) in the United States has soared to 12%, far exceeding the overall level, and that the people most affected by this wave of unemployment are those aged 16-24.
Cathie mentioned that Gen Z is no longer just "digital natives," but rather "AI natives" growing alongside AI. She encouraged Gen Z to boldly start businesses using tools like ChatGPT and Grok. With a good idea, they can use AI tools to create marketing plans and launch their projects. Furthermore, she believes young people should prepare for both opportunities and opportunities simultaneously, even if they can't find a job, they shouldn't waste this time.
She started her business at the age of 57 and admitted that she should have started her own business 20 years earlier. She said that the tools for starting a business now are more powerful than ever before, and young people should go for it if they have a good idea!
