PANews reported on January 15 that Ripple announced on its X platform that it has obtained a preliminary electronic money institution license from the Luxembourg Financial Services Authority (CSSF) to further promote the expansion of Ripple's payment business within the EU and introduce institutional-grade digital asset infrastructure to the region.
