PANews reported on December 11 that OpenAI announced that its Canvas feature is now fully open in the 4.0 version model, and users can use it on the web version and Windows desktop application. This feature is designed to collaborate with ChatGPT in a new way to draft, edit and get feedback on writing and code.

Canvas allows users to easily import text and code through an improved copy-paste experience, and can run Python code directly. Users can also use ChatGPT to fix bugs in the code based on console errors. In addition, Canvas features are now compatible with custom GPTs.
