PANews reported on January 21 that, according to foreign media reports, US Treasury Secretary Bessenter stated on Wednesday that he was not worried about the sell-off of US Treasury bonds and linked it to the volatility of Japanese government bonds, saying he had been in contact with his Japanese counterparts and assured them that they would take measures to stabilize the market. Denmark's position on US Treasury bonds is irrelevant, just like the country itself. He called on European allies to understand that Greenland needs to be part of the United States and hoped they would sit back and wait for President Trump's speech. According to the schedule released by the World Economic Forum, Trump is scheduled to deliver a public speech in Davos at 21:30 Beijing time. However, Bessenter indicated that President Trump would arrive in Davos approximately three hours late.
