PANews reported on June 6 that according to Bitcoin.com, the National Bank of Kazakhstan announced the launch of one of its digital asset integration projects - the implementation of cryptocurrency cards. These cards allow users to complete non-cash purchases and are associated with wallets containing cryptocurrencies, which can be converted into cash at the time of transaction, enabling merchants to receive payment after selling these digital assets. The sale of these assets will be handled by an exchange located in the Astana International Financial Center, a national financial hub. The bank also emphasized that it plans to launch more digital asset initiatives later this year, including the issuance of stablecoins backed by national currencies and the tokenization of financial assets.
