PANews reported on December 5th that, according to Jinshi, the US core PCE price index rose 2.8% year-on-year in September, below the expected 2.9% and the previous value of 2.9%. The US core PCE price index rose 0.2% month-on-month in September, below the expected 0.20% and the previous value of 0.2%. US personal spending rose 0.3% month-on-month in September, in line with expectations, while the previous value was revised from 0.6% to 0.5%.
The US core PCE price index rose 2.8% year-on-year in September, below the expected 2.9%.
