Losses from phishing scams fell to $3.28 million in October, a sharp decrease of 72% from the previous month.

PANews reported on November 10 that, according to Scam Sniffer's "Phishing Report for October 2025," Web3 phishing scams caused a total loss of approximately $3.28 million in October, a 72% decrease compared to September; the number of victims was 10,935, a decrease of approximately 30%.

The report indicates that while overall phishing activity continues to cool down, "Permit signature" scams remain the primary method. The largest single loss this month was recorded at address 0x8C42…EC47, resulting in a loss of approximately $439,000 due to signing a malicious Permit transaction.
