PANews reported on January 23 that, according to an announcement on the SEC's official website, SEC Chairman Atkins and CFTC Chairman Selig will host a public event, "SEC-CFTC Harmonization," at CFTC headquarters from 11:00 PM to 12:00 AM (UTC+8) on January 27 to discuss collaboration between the two agencies and a framework for crypto regulatory oversight. The moderator will be Eleanor Terrett. The event will be held at CFTC headquarters, open to the public, and streamed live online through the SEC website. No registration is required to participate online.
The SEC and CFTC will hold a joint event on "Regulatory Collaboration" on cryptography at 11 PM on January 27th.
