PANews reported on January 22 that Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong tweeted that the Solana transaction backlog has been resolved and users can retry canceled transactions. He stressed the need to strengthen support for Solana, including expanding infrastructure and providing native support for common use cases such as DEX and memecoin transactions. Coinbase's goal is to raise Solana support to the same "first-level support" level as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Base. Although the recent surge in activity is good for the ecosystem, he acknowledged the need to provide better services to users during periods of high demand.
