Huang Renxun: Nvidia's AI computing power increases 1 million times every 10 years

PANews reported on May 19 that Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said that Nvidia's (NVDA.O) artificial intelligence computing power has increased by about 1 million times every 10 years, and we are still continuing this trajectory through innovative methods, not just increasing chip speeds. Our collaboration with TSMC (TSM.N) has led to a new process called COOS-L, which makes large-scale chip manufacturing possible. At the same time, we have developed the world's fastest switch NVLink, which currently runs at 7.2TB. The NVLink backbone has an astonishing bandwidth of 130TB per second, connecting a total of 72 GPUs using innovative cabling and structured coaxial cables. The nine data streams transmitted per second are interconnected and connected to the switches through a powerful framework, highlighting the strength and design behind the NVLink architecture.
