PANews reported on January 16 that Google announced that it would increase the monthly fee for Workspace plans by $2 per user, while providing its AI features for free to all Workspace Business and Enterprise users, including generative AI tools in Gmail, Docs, Sheets, etc. These features previously required an additional $20 Gemini add-on package fee.

The new prices will be effective for new users starting today, and for existing users starting March 17, 2025. In addition, small business users will not be affected by the price changes for the time being.
