PANews reported on December 5 that L2 project Metis announced that cryptocurrency exchange OKX has become its latest decentralized sorting node provider. The addition of OKX brings the number of independent providers of Metis to 4 and the total number of sorting nodes to 10.

According to the announcement, OKX has staked 20,000 METIS tokens for network security through its OKX Earn product. As of now, the total amount of METIS tokens locked on the Metis network has reached 487,801.89.
