PANews reported on May 29 that according to the official blog, the digital identity verification project World ID has reached a cooperation with the Latin American delivery platform Rappi to pilot the "door-to-door verification" service in the Belgrano and Palermo communities in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Users can make an appointment for World ID's Orb device for real-person verification through the Rappi app, and the operation process is the same as ordering food.
The service is planned to be gradually expanded to the whole of Argentina, aiming to solve the problem of insufficient coverage of offline verification devices. World ID emphasizes that its technology can provide secure and anonymous digital identity authentication, and this cooperation is an important step in promoting universal access to key verification technologies.
