PANews 8月23日消息，据CoinDesk报道，日本电子巨头索尼宣布推出其区块链项目“Soneium”，该项目为基于以太坊的Layer-2网络，使用Optimism的OP Stack技术。Soneium由索尼集团与新加坡Startale Labs联合推出，计划在未来几天内上线测试网。Startale Labs首席执行官渡边创太表示，Soneium将首先面向Web3社区，随后将在两年内逐步整合索尼旗下的银行、音乐和影视等产品，并在三年内扩展到更广泛的企业和去中心化应用（dApps）。
