Tether's profit reaches $13 billion in 2024, and its U.S. Treasury holdings hit a record high

PANews reported on January 31 that Tether released its fourth quarter report for 2024, showing that its annual net profit exceeded US$13 billion and the group's equity exceeded US$20 billion. In the fourth quarter, the holdings of US Treasury bonds reached US$113 billion, surpassing the historical record, making Tether one of the world's largest holders of US Treasury bonds. At the same time, Tether's excess reserves exceeded US$7 billion for the first time, an annual increase of 36%.
