PANews reported on February 6 that according to Cointelegraph, Pump.fun received a cease and desist order for allegedly using the logos and names of two law firms, which are currently suing the platform. In a statement on the X platform, the US law firm Burwick Law said that the company and Wolf Popper had issued a cease and desist order to Pump.fun, demanding the "immediate removal" of Dog Shit Going NoWhere (DOGSHIT2) and other tokens that "impersonated our company" by using intellectual property rights (including its logo and name) without permission. According to Pump.fun, multiple users created tokens using the names and logos of Burwick Law and Wolf Popper in various configurations. Some other tokens used the names and portraits of Burwick Law employees and one of its clients in the lawsuit against PumpFun.
