Vancouver to include Bitcoin in city finances

PANews reported on December 6 that according to Bloomberg, as Bitcoin broke through $100,000 to set a record high, the city of Vancouver is considering incorporating Bitcoin into the city's financial system. The Vancouver City Council will review a motion proposed by Mayor Ken Sim on December 11, titled "Protecting the city's purchasing power through financial reserve diversification - building a Bitcoin-friendly city."

Earlier news, the mayor of Vancouver plans to launch a "Bitcoin Friendly City" plan.
