The Blockchain Group purchased 580 bitcoins, bringing its total holdings to 620 bitcoins

PANews reported on March 27 that French technology consulting company The Blockchain Group announced that it had purchased 580 bitcoins at a price of approximately 81,550 euros (approximately 87,874 U.S. dollars) per bitcoin, which is the company's largest bitcoin acquisition to date. The purchase was completed through its subsidiary The Blockchain Group Luxembourg SA, and the funds came from the convertible bond issuance proceeds issued on March 6.

After this transaction, the company's total Bitcoin holdings reached 620, valued at more than US$54.2 million based on current market prices, making it the world's 28th largest corporate Bitcoin holder.
