PANews reported on May 27 that according to Snapshot, the zkLink community recently officially approved a proposal to transfer 2% of the ZKL in the ecosystem fund to the Solana network. The proposal aims to support the potential synergy between zkLink and the Solana ecosystem, with a particular focus on cross-chain execution and collaborative exploration in AI Agent scenarios.
According to the proposal, ZKL assets will be transferred to Solana through the official bridge solution and used for future ecological application construction, AI module integration, and user incentive mechanisms on the network. The proposal is funded by the zkLink Ecosystem Growth Fund. The proposal voting period is from May 16 to May 19, 2025, and it was successfully passed by a majority vote.
zkLink is a cross-chain transaction infrastructure network based on zero-knowledge proof technology. Currently, zkLink X (supporting ApeX Omni to complete a cumulative transaction volume of over US$70 billion) and zkLink Nova (the industry's first aggregated Layer3 zkEVM Rollup, with a current TVL of over US$78 million, and has integrated multiple mainstream L2s such as zkSync, Scroll, Linea, and Arbitrum) have been launched.
The approval of this proposal is seen as an important step for zkLink to expand its “ZK + AI + multi-chain” strategic combination, and also reflects its long-term direction of gradually establishing cross-ecological collaborative capabilities and strengthening the construction of proxy trading networks.
