PANews reported on February 19 that Vitalik Buterin responded that the statement that he holds 3/5 seats on the Ethereum Foundation (EF) board of directors is not accurate. He clarified that he has only held one seat on the three-member board since 2017. This response was in response to Ameen Soleimani's discussion on social media about whether Vitalik's role in the Ethereum ecosystem is closer to a "king" or a "prophet", in which most voters believe that he is more inclined to the latter.
