PANews reported on February 16 that Chris Dixon, managing partner of a16z Crypto and a well-known investor, posted on the X platform that Brian Quintenz has joined a16z Crypto for more than three years, initially as a senior advisor and later as policy director. His expertise is invaluable to the cryptocurrency industry and he will become an outstanding chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).

Earlier news revealed that Brian Quintenz, global head of a16z Crypto policy, has been nominated by US President Trump as the next chairman of the CFTC.
