PANews reported on March 30 that according to Jinshi, US President Trump said in an interview with NBC News that he would not fire anyone involved in the Signal group chat leak. Trump said he would not "fire employees because of fake news and political persecution", and clarified that he "doesn't know what Signal is" and "doesn't care what Signal is", and said he could only say that this was "just a political persecution."
