Cardano founder says he had “no prior knowledge” that ADA was chosen as the U.S. reserve cryptocurrency

PANews March 6 news, according to Cointelegraph, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson said that he knew nothing about the news until US President Trump announced that Cardano's native token ADA would be included in his proposed crypto reserve. Hoskinson said in a video on March 5: "We had no idea that ADA was selected for the reserve, which was news to me." He added that he received 150 congratulatory messages when he woke up on March 2, but "had no idea what was going on."

Hoskinson also talked about the White House cryptocurrency roundtable on March 7 (US time), claiming that as of now, he and any Cardano representative have not received an invitation. He added that he does not think any policy will be formulated at this meeting, because there is still a lot of policy work and institutions that need to be passed before any decision is made or legislation is passed, so although these summits are "important because they bring attention to this topic, the real work does require people from all walks of life" to work together to complete.
